Steps involved in managing RTU/AC schedules:

  1.  First, select the buildings tab and click on whichever building you would like to adjust if you have multiple. Now, decide which unit you would like to change the schedule for and click on it.

  2. Now, select the schedules icon. From here you will be able to see all of the possible schedules created for this unit. Whichever schedule is currently applied will have an 'Active' marking on it, which is in this case the 'Dining area' schedule. If a schedule has an 'Org Level' marking, this means that it is organizational and is applied to all RTU and AC units in any building.

  3. In order to edit a schedule, select the three dots. From here you will have the option to set as active now which will replace the units current schedule settings. You can also delete and duplicate the schedule and based on your permissions you can sometimes customize it.

  4. One capability that is sometimes needed is creating a schedule for a particular unit. To do so, click on the three dots for the 'Default' schedule and select duplicate.

  5. Name this schedule whatever you would like, since this is an example we will name it 'Test'. Now you can go ahead and select the duplicate button. Your schedule will appear, but you now need to customize it. Click the three dots and select customize schedule.

  6. Iif 'Use Reset Schedule' is turned on, this means any manual changes to the units thermostat will be temporary as the schedule will reset it in its next period. You can also add a date range and turn on the option for the schedule to repeat every year if desired.

  7. You can now edit the physical schedule. In order to learn how to create and edit a schedule that can be applied across multiple units or buildings, see the tutorial on HVAC Schedules. You will learn how to add periods, duplicate periods, and save the schedule.
