Steps involved in seeing equipment details:

  1.   First, navigate to the buildings tab and select which building you would like to work with. Now, select the unit whose details you would like to view, for example, an AC unit.

  2. The first tab is the basic details tab. Here you can see a virtual thermostat along with schedule and activity log tabs.

  3. In order to see how to change system or fan mode, see the tutorial on changing system and fan mode. If you would like to know how to manipulate schedules for a unit, see the tutorial on managing master schedules and managing RTU and AC Schedules. Below these tabs are two toggle options which were discussed in the tutorial on overriding thermostat display and early on. There are also two tabs on the far right of the screen which list equipment notes and reminders. Finally, at the very bottom are physical details about the unit, including equipment traits and capabilities for both the unit as well as the thermostat and sensors.

  4. The next tab in chronological order is a charts section which is discussed in deeper detail in the equipment charts tutorial.

  5. With that being said, the next tab contains all media regarding the particular unit you are viewing. If 'All' is selected, all pictures or videos of Monaire sensors, thermostats, and the unit itself will be displayed. Otherwise, if you want to just look at the pictures of the unit, select 'RTU' and if you just want to see the sensors and thermostat, select 'Thermostat & Sensors'. On the far right of the screen, there is an option to delete media or upload new media from your device.

  6. Next, is the alerts tab. Here you can see all of the alerts associated with this unit. Each entry contains the alert message, what type of alert it is, its priority, and its status. Additionally, you can see when the alert was created. Two features of this tab that could be easily overlooked are the 'Filter' and 'Alert Settings' options.

  7. The filter option allows you to examine alerts apart of a certain status, priority, and type, as well as any combination of the three. On the other hand, 'Alert Settings' allows you to snooze alerts and edit which alerts are enabled for the specific unit. Note, some alerts may be disabled on a business level which means they are not recorded on any unit.

  8. Finally, the last two tabs, 'History' and 'Work Orders' work hand in hand. 'History' shows all completed work orders with their number, type, who they were assigned to, and when a solution to the problem was scheduled. If you click into one of these work orders, any descriptions or completion notes will be available.

  9. At the top of the screen, MonAI will give a brief summary of the work order history. The main difference between this tab and the 'Work Order' tab is that 'History' does not have current work orders that have not been completed. The 'Work Order' tab also includes when it was accepted. A key feature of both is that you are able to search by work order number.

  10. Now, all important capabilities of a unit's details have been discussed so you can use this knowledge on your equipment!
