Steps involved in navigating the equipment page:

  1.   Select the equipment tab. If you have multiple buildings, this will be your organization's equipment across all buildings with the specific building a unit is in listed on the left. As seen on the screen, many other details about the equipment are available, including name, thermostat details, equipment health, age and work order related facts, and the last service date.

  2. Additionally, based on which option you select, you can search by either building name or equipment name. For example, if you select the Cabana option, only equipment from Cabana will show. If you switch to the equipment option and then search RTU 2 for example, only the RTUs containing RTU 2 will be available.

  3. One of the more important differences between seeing equipment in this view instead of going into buildings first is that the filter option is different. You can filter by equipment health, age, number of work orders, and a few other miscellaneous options, simply select which you want to filter by. Note, for age and number of work orders, the sliders work as a moving range.

  4. A key trait about the equipment page is that it is automatically sorted by the type of unit. Right now, we are in the RTU section, but any type of unit can be accessed. For example, if you want to look at the exhaust fans, select this option. The same options of searching by building and equipment name, as well as using filters are available when switching between unit type tabs.

  5. Finally, the last important ability in the equipments tab is downloading health reports which can be done for any unit type. For our purposes, we will give an example in the RTU tab. Navigate to the report download option on the right of the screen and click it. You will be given an option of either an Excel or CSV file, simply select based on your preference.

  6. This report will include details about the RTUs you have as well as evaluations of their performance and overall health. You are now ready to use this equipment page for your units!
